MICHAEL GLAZIK
MADISON, ALABAMA — Michael Charles Glazik, 54, born on Oct. 3, 1962, of Madison, Alabama, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 in Huntsville, Alabama.
Michael grew up in Alton, Illinois, and lived in Madison, Alabama, for 19 years. He was a civilian worker for the Department of the Army for 31 years, and was employed as Associate Aviation Director at AMCOM.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother-in-law, Verna Smith; and his brother-in-law, Bob Schirmer.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Carolyn L. Glazik; sons, Kyle Glazik and Brandon Glazik (Jenny Wan) and their son, Bruce Wan Glazik; parents, Rudie and Val Glazik; two sisters, Karen Glazik (Peter Kacmarek) and Kathy Quintanar (Ken); father-in-law, James Smith; mother-in-law, Dorothy Fleming (Hal); sister-in-law, Pat Schirmer; brother-in-law, Randy Smith (Mike Schwartz); nieces: Corinne Kacmarek (Gene Puerta), Carissa Kacmarek, Savannah Quintanar, Katie Biermann (Mike), Abby Schirmer and Jackie Schirmer; nephew, Quinn Quintanar; great nephews, Henry Biermann and Albert Biermann.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a chapel service at 6 p.m. with Dr. Rev. Alan Weatherly and Chaplain Adolph DuBose officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov., 5, 2016 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, with Rev. Larry Patton officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Garden of Memory in Belleville, Illinois.
