Michael Smart, 68, of Peabody, Massachusetts, passed on June 23, 2023. Michael was born on January 19, 1955. He was the beloved son of Ira Smart and Lorraine Smart of Peabody, Massachusetts. Michael was a truck driver for 42 years. He is survived by this wife Beth Smart and his 3 daughters Jennifer Gardner, Jaymee Coleman, Amanda Smart-Owens and his 9 grandchildren. Michael attended Bishop Fendwick High School, where he excelled academically and made many lifelong friends. He went on to enjoy a successful career at Entergy, where he was a valued member of the team for many years.

Michael was known for his infectious laugh and playful sense of humor. He loved a good joke, and he was always ready with a witty quip or a well-timed pun. He was a kind and generous man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
