SIEMERMichael Joseph Siemer, 64, of Independence, Kentucky passed away on October 3, 2017 at St Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was born on November 7, 1952. Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan (Galloway); son Ryan Michael (Audrey) Siemer; daughter Raechel Michelle Siemer; granddaughter Julia Paige Siemer; and sisters Patti (Ken) Courtney and Maurya (Steve) Simonin.Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Betty Siemer , his brothers Kean Siemer and Tim Siemer, and a sister Mary Colleen Siemer. Michael retired from Bahrs Die and Stamping Company where he worked as a machinist. He loved coaching kids sports and was very active with the Taylor Mill Boosters. Michael was an avid golfer and loved listening to vinyl records. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229.A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
