XENIA — Michael Gordon Kilgore, 42, of Monroe Michigan passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor Michigan. Michael was born on December 29, 1971 in Xenia, Ohio. He is the son of Judith Dagnan and the late Gordon Kilgore. He is survived by his wife, Dixie, of Monroe: Sisters- Angela (Jerry) Benasutti and twin sister Marie Walker, both of Fairborn. Cousin- Scott Kilgore, brother by choice and step-children-Mandy (Van), Trisha (Jessie) and Jason all of Monroe. Nieces and nephews and grandchildren lovingly claimed by Michael. Michael is also survived by a special and loved Aunt Lily Cantrell. Michael is preceded in death by grandparents Dallas and Relda Kilgore, Joe and Marie Eldridge, his cousins, Linda Jo Cantrell, and Norman and William "Dexter" Kilgore. Michael loved motorcycles, car races and helping at VFW when needed. He had many friends who loved him dearly as he loved them. He was an organ donor, he saved three lives. A gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday July 17, 2014, 6 pm until time of memorial service at 8 pm with Rev. Dr. Stuart Snow, officiating, at Fairborn Free Will Baptist Church, 16 Edna Avenue, Fairborn, Ohio. The Neidhard-Snow Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Kilgore.
