Michael Rankin KowalskiJuly 14, 2017Michael Rankin Kowalski of Fort Myers, Florida passed away suddenly on Friday, July 14, 2017. He was 27 years old.Michael was born on September 30, 1989 in Belleville, Illinois, the proud son of Randi-Jo (Rankin) and Steven Kowalski. He was the loving father to and is survived by his cherished daughter Abigail Jane Kowalski. He also leaves behind his father Steven Kowalski and step-mother Dena Kowalski; his brothers Andrew, William, Brandon and Bryce; grandmothers Linda Rankin and Geraldine Heil; uncles David Wheeler and Paul Rankin; a number of extended family members and a multitude of others who were proud to call him a friend. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his mother who passed away in 2015.A Memorial Service for Michael will be celebrated by Dr. Daniel Lamey at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2017 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for two hours preceding this ceremony beginning at 4:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel.
