Michael Lamar Bumpers was a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama and he gave his life to Christ at an early age.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Mr Earnest and Ruth Bumpers; sister, Minnie Lee Thomas;brothers - William Thomas, John Thomas, and Napolean Tunstall.

He is survived by his mother, Mary L  Thomas; daughter, LaShun Bumpers; sons, Michael Bumpers and LaDon Bumpers; Donald English, Tyrone English, Tenika Scott, Renee English; grandchildren Kayla Bumpers and Matthew Bumpers. Sisters, Ella Charlene Bumpers, Magaret (Jonas) Washington, Mary Ann Thomas, Margie Crear, Latishia Thomas, Adeline Thomas; brothers, James Tunstall, Walter Thomas, Willie Thomas, Clark Thomas; three close friends, Benjamin Sawyer, Samuel Adams, and Willie Jones and and long time friend and mother of his children, Marcia English; and a host of family and friends.
