Michael Larry Krogh passed away on April 16, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at age 51, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on Jan. 8, 1957, in Logan, Utah, to Larry Eugene and Marilyn Hiibner Krogh. He attended school in Salt Lake City, and in his youth he enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball. His musical talent manifested itself at an early age and he began playing his guitar at age 8. His career as a musician brought joy to him and others as he performed in Phoenix, Ariz., Montana and other places. Mike married Lesta Jean Hense in 1980. From this union a son, John Michael Krogh, was born. They were later divorced. He married Ilexis Foreman in 1988. They were blessed with three children: Hope Melissa Krogh, Harvest Maureen Krogh and Harrison Randy Krogh. They were later divorced. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Larry Krogh; grandfather, Wayne Hiibner; and grandparents, Charles and Mary Krogh. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Krogh; his children, John, Hope, Harvest and Harris Krogh; grandmother, Joyce Hiibner; many uncles, aunts, cousins; and his childhood friend, Randy Inglefield. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center Street in Logan. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services.
