On Monday, March 2nd, Michael Hutchison, loving husband and father of nine children, passed away at the age of 70.

Mike was born on January 25th, the year 1950 in Denver Colorado.  He received his law degree from the University of Colorado in 1977, and he practiced business law for a few years in Colorado. On May 28, 1979, he married Mary Elezabeth Neslon. They raised five sons and five daughters after moving to Anchorage, Alaska in 1980; Issac, Zeb, Melina, Tanica, Eli, Michaela, Monica, Hannah, Seth, and Gideon.

Mike had a passion for painting, watching birds. and fishing, and he combined his three favorite hobbies to create extraordinary art. His paintings of various birds and fish were much admired not only by friends and family, but also by all who frequented the coffee shops where his paintings were displayed. He was also an avid music lover and a collector of Beatles memorabilia. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. 

Mike was an inspiration to a lot of people in this world; his family, friends, and athletes. He knew how to say the right thing and was surrounded by people who loved him. He loved the lord with all of his heart, may his soul Rest In Peace.
