Funeral services for Michael Lynn Nash, 62, of DeRidder will be held Thursday February 2, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Frank Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home.Michael the son of A.J. Nash and Sybil Joy Perkins Nash was born on December 28, 1954 in DeRidder Louisiana. He passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, in DeRidder, LA.He was preceded in death by his father.He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Eveline Nash of DeRidder; sons, Brandon Q. Bailey of Corpus Christi, TX, Kevin Lane Nash of Ft Worth, TX, Michael A Williams and Angie of Enola, PA , and John David Nash and Jessica of Sulphur, LA.; Daughter, Angela Michelle Harkness and Shawn of Cantonsville, MD; Mother, Sybil Nash Martin of DeRidder, LA ; sister, Linda Feldman and Kevin of Aledo, TX and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.Michael was a native and lifelong resident of DeRidder. He was a graduate of DeRidder High School in 1973. Michael was formerly employed by Nash Refrigeration, a family owned business and retired from Central Louisiana Technical Community College/Lamar Salter Campus where he taught climate control (Heating and AC). He was a Reserve Deputy for Beauregard Parish. He was also a past member of Sam Todd Lodge 182 of Sugartown, La, lifetime member of Sons of the American Legion, Post 27 in DeRidder, LA, former member of the Optimist Club in DeRidder, LA, and also member of the Patriot Guard.
