Michael H. MoyerSelinsgroveMichael H. Moyer, 51, died peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday,August 20, 2016 of complications resulting from anaphylaxis. He was born on September 25, 1964 to Henry and Dolores Moyer of Selinsgrove, who survive him. Mike graduated from West Snyder High School in 1982 having participated in many activities including wrestling, soccer, baseball and band. Following high school, he earned a Bachelor's Degree from Shippensburg University in 1987.In 1991, he married Pamela Denlinger. Mike and Pam celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on April 13, 2016.He worked for Wood-Mode for 29 years, most recently serving in the role of Area Leader. He supplemented his career with membership in Masonic Lodge 619 in Middleburg and as a 32nd degree mason in the Harrisburg consistory. He also was a member of the County Line Hunting Club in Beaver Springs where he served as President and Past President.Mike's life was enriched by many things he enjoyed. Most of all, he enjoyed his dogs, Bella and Bailey. He was happiest when he was doing anything involving water—scuba diving, his swimming pool, and trips to the ocean in Cancun, Mexico. Additionally, he was an avid gardener, and cook, serving up delicious meals from his smoker, grill and kitchen.In addition to his wife and parents, Mike is survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Denlinger of York, one sister, Wendi and Frank Gossler of Beaver Springs; and two brothers, Duane and Kristin of Mount Wolf, and Timm and Kristen of Watsontown. He also is survived by two brothers-in-law, Mark Denlinger and Kerry Flood of Austin, TX and Todd and Denise Denlinger of State College; and one sister-in-law, Bethany and Matt Eckley of State College. Mike had seven nephews and nieces, Justin Glenny and Dianna Koonsman, Jared and Jennifer Glenny, Coryn Moyer, Chris Moyer, Merrick Denlinger, Haley Eckley, and Hannah Eckley. He also had three great-nieces and two great-nephews, Jadyn, Jared, Jozi, Jordin, and Joel.Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, with a Masonic service with the Middleburg F&AM Lodge 619 at 7:45 p.m. at V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, and from 11 a.m. to noon, Friday, at God's Missionary Church, 1693 Creek Road, Middleburg. followed by a funeral at noon with the Rev.
