Michael Oren Cason Sr., born May 21, 1952, died in the Philippines on February 18, 2020.

A native Texan, Mike formerly resided in League City. He worked as a fishing charter captain and in the real estate field, but his primary occupation was master electrician. He was also an accomplished audiophile who shared his expert knowledge of electronics and speaker design on several internet forums.

Mike owned and operated Cason Electric in League City until his retirement in 2013, when he moved to the Philippines. There he volunteered for the charitable organization Medical Mission Matters and was involved in several other charitable efforts. Mike also chronicled his travels through the Philippine isles on his popular YouTube channel My Philippine Journey.

Mike is survived by his loving partner Merliza Bright, in the Philippines, and a son, Michael Jr., in the US.
