MICHAEL J. ROBINSON, 61 LEAF RIVER - Michael J. Robinson, 61, of Leaf River passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, while vacationing in the Wisconsin Northwoods. He passed doing what he loved most - enjoying the outdoors with his family. Michael was born on January 3, 1954, in Neenah, Wisconsin to James and Eloise (Larson) Robinson. He married Terrie Werner on May 27, 1978. Together they raised three amazing children - Todd, Mark, and Megan. Michael was a long time employee of Exelon Corporation, working at the Byron nuclear plant for over 25 years. Mike enjoyed camping, fishing, grilling, playing cards, and being outdoors. He loved traveling with his wife, Terrie. He was an avid Packer fan. Mike loved doing anything with his family - most of all, he adored being Grandpa to his 3 young grandsons. Michael is survived by his wife, Terrie (Werner) of Leaf River; his sons, Todd (Kami Kochsmier) of Pecatonica, and Mark (Tracey Davis) of Davis Junction; his daughter, Megan, of Aurora; his grandsons, Caden, Mitchell, and Carter; his parents, James and Eloise Robinson of Neenah, Wisconsin; his sisters, Terese Robinson of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Mary (Guy) Carver of Boise, Idaho, and Christine (Donny) Gray of Eastland, Texas; his brother, Tom (Jose) Robinson of San Juan, Puerto Rico; and his mother-in-law, Audrey (Link) Werner of New Berlin, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ray Werner, of New Berlin, Wisconsin. A private family memorial has been planned at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport.
