ZIMA, Michael Wilmur Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Mike was born on April 2, 1936 in Drumheller to Dorothy and Michael Zima. His early years were spent on the farm with his brother Bob and working in the coal mines before coming to Calgary, where he met his future wife Jean. He developed a long and rewarding career building Big Country Drywall Ltd., and with hard work, determination and loyal employees, he made a good life for him and his family. He enjoyed family, friends, playing his guitars, classic country music and a cold beer. Mike was predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife of forty-three years, Jean and his brother Bob. Mike leaves to mourn his son Grant, daughter Michelle (Andy) and many friends and family members. He was a good man with a big heart who was loved by many and will be dearly missed. At Mike's request, no funeral will be held, but we would like to gather to celebrate his life.
