Michael Lee Puzynski, age 77, a resident of Rixeyville, VA and formerly of Manassas passed away early in the morning, Sunday, May 28, 2023 after his long battle with cancer.

He had a long career with the United States Postal Service as a Transportation Supervisor in the Dulles facility and prior to that as a long-haul truck driver for many years. Michael was an avid gardener, loved working on cars and an animal lover especially to dogs. Michael along with his wife Beth enjoyed their retirement between their home in the tropical island of Cebu and staying with family in Virginia and Indiana(Michael’s birthplace).

Michael was predeceased by his parents, William Perry and Frances Puzynski Perry, older brother Bill, son Michael Jr. and son-in-law Phil Roe. Michael is survived by his wife of 34+ years Beatriz A. Puzynski of Rixeyville, VA (originally of Cebu, Philippines) and daughters; Kim Chrisman( and husband Steve), Lisa Roe, Renee Puzynski and Maria Garlan Hatzel(and husband Sonny), grandchildren Alicia, Jessica, Stephen, Phillip, Eric, Joey, William, Joshua, Colin, Morgan and Ronin and many great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 5-8pm at Moser Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 271 Winchester St. Warrenton, VA 20186 on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11am. Final resting place will be at Simpark Memorial Cemetery in Sibonga, Cebu, Philippines at a later date.
