Michael Ponthieux, aged 65, passed away on September 1, 2023, at Tri Community Nursing Center.

Micheal was born on September 22, 1957, to his loving parents George Ponthieux and Katie Clark Ponthieux in Melville , Louisiana.

Throughout his life and career, Michael worked as a heavy equipment operator, demonstrating incredible skill and dedication to his craft. He was known for his hard work and expertise in his profession.

Michael found immense joy and pride in his two children, Mikey Ponthieux and Tahlia Ponthieux. He supported them unconditionally in their pursuits, always offering guidance and encouragement.

Michael was also blessed with the joy of being a grandfather to six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He adored each one of them and found great happiness in spending time with his precious grandchildren. Michael's love and influence will remain forever imprinted on the lives and hearts of these young ones, who will surely carry his legacy forward.

Outside of his family life and career, Michael had various hobbies and passions he pursued. Whether it was watching football on the weekends or working on classic cars, he found solace and happiness in these activities.

On September 1, 2023, Michael Ponthieux left this world, leaving behind a vast void in the lives of those who loved him dearly. Although his presence will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of his family and friends.
