Michael Mcfarland, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 15, 2026 in Wilmington, Delaware at the ripe old age of 88.

Michael was born on April 16, 1937 to Kenneth Mcfarland and Liana Smith in Wilmington. He married the love of his life, Eddie Mcfarland, in 1938 and together they raised three wonderful children: Jeremy, Autum, and Margo.

Michael graduated from Howard High School in 1957 and went on to work as a shipyard worker until his retirement in 2005. He also proudly served in the Army as a Petty Officer.

In his free time, Michael enjoyed painting and creating beautiful works of art. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to make those around him smile.

Michael will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.

Rest in peace, Michael Mcfarland. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
