Michael James McNeil, 52, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, passed away surrounded by his family on July 8th, 2018.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tammy of 28 years; his four children: Philip, Brooke, Cory, and Sarah; as well as, his loving grandchildren, and extended family. Michael was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Michael loved sports, especially Football, where his favorite team was the Washington Redskins. He worked in the transportation field for 30 years, and spent his free time watching various sports games, traveling, and working on projects at home. Michael was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, coaching community football or whatever else people needed him for.

A special thank you to the people at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in  Spotsylvania, Virginia for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Covenant Funeral Services for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.

A private service for family and friends of Michael was held at Covenant Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 11th
