He enjoyed many different professions such as logging in Oregon, Oregon road crews as a heavy equipment operator, over the road trucker, and spent many years in Wyoming working for Redi Services with Exxon Mobil. Hitting the highway on his Harley Davidson with his son Dustin, feeling the wind for many long trips. He had a love for anything old and antique, rock picking and collecting petrified wood. He and Cindy moved to Overton, NV in 2017 for retirement. He worked part-time at the Clark County Parks & Rec, driving the van for field trips along with teaching an art class. He spent many hours volunteering for the Senior Center; driving the seniors to and from Dr. appointments, field trips, and to the airport, where he gained friendships and family that will cherish his presence in their life forever. Mike touched the lives of many, people from afar, of all ages, and his memory will burn brightly by all his family and friends for eternity.
