Michelle Bethea, beloved daughter of Joseph and Millicent Bethea, was born March 31 1971 and entered into eternal rest on May 31, 2025, in New York, New York.

Michelle did some college and dedicated many years to her work at NYC Health @ Hospitals Jacobi. Where she touched the lives of many all say to know her is to love her. Many Awards in her 30 years of service.

Although Michelle did not have children of her own, she had a warm and nurturing spirit that touched the lives of many. She was known for her infectious laughter and kind heart. Her God children Canjenea Stevenson,Tavon Chapman,Julia Osborn,and Jacksyn Patterson Michelle loved her babies with her whole big heart.

Michelle faced her battle with cancer with incredible strength and grace, never losing her sense of humor or positive outlook on life.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters Jenell Betances,Patrese Mitchell, Nicole Gustafson, Antoinette Osborn,Audra Collins (Penny) Alicia Patterson and Tasha Collins brothers Kimani Forbes and Derek Mitchell , auntie Claudette and God sister Tameka and many many many aunts uncles and cousins all who had the privilege of knowing her. Michelle Your light will continue to shine bright in our hearts. Rest in God's Arms. Her celebration of life will be held at Unity chapel funeral home June 20.
