Howe, Michelle Lynn 44, went to her heavenly home and eternal presence with her mom (Carol A. Rodgers [Holt]) and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 28, 2017. Michelle was born on the Fort Hood military base in Texas on November 2, 1972. Having had no siblings, she is survived by her proud father (James B. Rodgers), her favorite uncle (David B. Rodgers), several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and numerous loving friends. Michelle married Jason T. Howe on November 13, 1993 in Phoenix, AZ. She attended Biola University in La Mirada, CA, and was a graduate of Alhambra High School (1991) and Grand Canyon University (B.A. in psychology, 1997) in Phoenix AZ and Liberty University (M.A. in religion, 2000) in Lynchburg, VA. She attended Redemption Church in Gilbert, AZ, and was a devoted staff member of the ASU School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences. Michelle was an avid fan of the San Diego Chargers and a passionate member of the Quilts for Kids organization. She was fascinated by wild animals and loved life, family, coworkers, and students willing to learn. Her cremation service will be private, but memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Phoenix Zoo at 455 N. Galvin Pkwy Phoenix, AZ 85008.
