Mildred NogareMildred "Millie" Ann Nogare passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 19, 2017 at the age of 83. Millie Nogare was born on November 2, 1933 in Gordon, Colorado to Michael and Catherine Colnar and was the youngest of two children. She grew up in Walsenburg, Colorado before moving to South San Francisco, California where she raised her family.Millie worked as a cook at El Camino High School for 25 years and was a longtime parishioner of St. Veronica Church in South San Francisco. Millie loved to sketch horses and was well known for enjoying Coca-Cola and listening to Elvis. She will be remembered as a loving wife of 63 years to her husband Albert and beloved mother and grandmother.Millie was preceded in death by her husband who also recently passed, as well as her parents and sister Margaret Mueller. She is survived by her children Albert Jr. (Mary), John (Sue), Robert (Sarah), and Tammy; grandchildren Brandon, Jessica, Rachel, Nicholas, Alanna, Tyler, and Kyle; goddaughters Cathy Mueller and Regina Cacciatore; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.Funeral Mass for Millie and Albert Nogare will be held on Friday February 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Veronica's Catholic Church in South San Francisco. Burial Services will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's foundation are greatly appreciated.
