Mildred Lee White, 91, died on May 12th, 2021. She was born to John Randle and Francis Blackston (Ma Dear) in Shreveport, Louisiana on September 12th, 1929. She was on of seven children (Herman Randle, Elouise Randle, Lee Arthur Randle, Charles Coleman, Verna Clay Coleman and Ella Pearl.
Mildred met her husband Leroy White in Shreveport, Louisiana at a laundry mat where he worked. They were married a had their first to children in Louisana, but eventually moved and continued to grow their family in Pasadena, California. Together they raised 5 children; Sharon Sanni-Nelson (deceased), Stephanie Davis (deceased), Greg White, Angela Smith-Palacios, and Michael White (deceased). She is survived by her youger sister Ella Pearl, her daughter Angela Smith-Palacios, her son in law Arturo Palacios, her son Greg White, her daughter in law Carlette White, as well as 13 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mildred worked at Head Start elementary school where she retired after 35 years. She was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Her number one passion was her volunteer work of spreading the Good News about God's Kingdom. She was a proud servant of Jehovah God and shared her beliefs with friends and family for 52 years.
Her advice, her smile, her nutrality and her laugh will be missed until we see her again.
"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."- John 5:28, 29
