Mildred M. Bauer RACINE – Mildred M. (nee: Rudat) Bauer, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Becker Shoop Center. She was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on August 29, 1921, the daughter of the late William and Emma (nee: Jaskulsky) Rudat. On July 14, 1947 Mildred was united in marriage to William Bauer. Mildred was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for many years. She had been employed at Wisconsin Bell for 30 years. Surviving is her husband of 64 years, William, sister, Carol Kragh, niece, Jeanne Kumosz and a nephew, Larry Kragh. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond (Helen) Rudat. Services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Susan Smith officiating. Mildred will be laid to rest at West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, before services from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
