Mildred McCormack Hood Jack, 85, passed away at Yuma Regional Medical Center April 15, 2009. Mildred was born on September 9, 1923, in Mobetee, Texas, to Emmet and Alma (Hogan) McCormack. Mildred graduated from high school in 1940, the first in her family to do so. Mildred married Porter Almus Hood in 1940 and from this union they had a son, Ronald Almus; daughters Sharon Marlisle and Melody Elizabeth. Porter preceded her in death in 1984. She married Richard Jack in 1988. They celebrated their 21st anniversary on March 14, 2009. Survivors include: her husband, Richard Jack of Richmond, Indiana and Yuma, son Ron A. Hood of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughters, Sharon M. Walsh of Sterling, Colorado, and Melody E. Hood, of Sacramento, California; grandsons, Mikel D. Hood and Dustin P. Hood of Oklahoma, Spencer Lee Walsh II of Brooklyn, New York, Cameron G. Walsh of Sterling; great -grandchildren Connor, Sydney, Molly, Taylor, Austin and Kylee of Oklahoma. Brother Melvin McCormack Oklahoma; sisters Betty Stohler of Indiana, Vernice Rowecamp of Ohio, Ann Davis of Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at Foothills Southern Baptist Church, 13148 E. 40th St., Yuma, on Monday, April 20, 2009, 1 p.m.,
