Mildred McNabbLenoir City, TNMildred Bryant McNabb, 89, of Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away on December 21, 2016, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on September 27, 1927, in Monroe, Michigan, but grew up in the Glendale Community of Greenback. After graduating high school, she was hired at the Bacon Hosiery Mill to do office work where she continued to work for 43 years. Mildred was a member of First Baptist Church Lenoir City and the Shelly Neff Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, W.N. McNabb, Jr.; son-in-law, Terry Vann; parents, Elbert and Mossy Bryant; sisters, Barbara Helen Bryant and Carolyn Heaton; and several other extended family members. She is survived by sons, Gary McNabb of Talbott, TN, Mike McNabb, and wife, Donnette, of Morristown, TN; daughter, Gail Vann of Lenoir City, TN; grandsons, Matthew McNabb and Shelby McNabb of Morristown, TN; sisters; Elsie Shepard and June Quillen of Lenoir City, TN, Norma Jean Yingst of Liberty, IN, Suan Floyd, husband, Ray, of Knoxville, TN, and Judy Bryant of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Charles Bryant, and wife, Maggie, of Greenback, TN, and Bill Bryant, and wife, Sue, of Palmer, TN, brothers-in-law, Jerry Heaton of Greenback, TN, and Doug McNabb, and wife, Jan, of Lenoir City, TN; sisters-in-law, Jeri West of Lithia Springs, GA, and Ruth McNabb of Lenoir City, TN; several nieces and nephews; and very special high school friend, Katherine Lovin.The family wishes to thank Dr. Daniel Ibach, Dr. Lytle Brown, and Dr. Joseph Myers and their staff, and also to the staff of Amedisys for the excellent care you gave our Mom. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, 2016, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will immediately follow with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, December 27, 2016, and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Garden for graveside services and interment.
