Mildred R. DrownGREEN SPRINGS: Mildred R. Drown, 94, of Green Springs, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1921 in Tiffin, OH to Alva and Sarah (Bowersox) Burns. Mildred married Harold K. Drown on May 27, 1939 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1989.Mildred was a Homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clyde, OH and a member of the Green Springs VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing and camping for many years. Mildred was a seamstress and also enjoyed cake decorating and traveling. She was an avid bird and dog lover.Mildred is survived by her children, Ruth Ann (James) Busack and Donald (Sue) Drown both of Clyde, OH; grandson/son, Jack (Sandy) Didion whom Mildred raised; nine other grandchildren and many great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold K. Drown; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Howard Stearns; infant son, Albert Drown; three sisters and three brothers.Visitation: Friday from 4 to 8 pm at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N.
