Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. A memorial service will be held at Royal Estates Abilene, 6565 Central Park Blvd. at 1:30 PM on Friday, November 25, 2016. Private family graveside services will follow the memorial service. Mildred was born on June 6, 1916 in Brown County, TX to Garnett and Rupert Samford. She attended schools in Brownwood and graduated from high school in Peacock, TX. She also attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. Mildred married Jack Richey in 1937 and he passed away in 1956. She later married Charles Wesbrooks in 1963. Mildred was active in the schools and churches in the community and she was a Methodist. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Jay of Granbury, TX; sons, John Richey and wife, Rayma of Breckenridge, TX and Bill Richey and wife, Mary Kay of Mountain Home, Idaho; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one brother, Jack Samford of Canyon, TX.You may view and sign the guestbook at www.elliotthamilfuneralhome.com
