KNIGHTMillard Wesley Millard Wesley Knight, 86, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born on January 30, 1930, to Hubert and Edith (Green) Knight in Cragford, Alabama. Millard proudly served in the United States Air Force during Korea and Vietnam Wars. He moved to Toledo in 1978 and started his own independent trucking company, retiring in 1992. His hobbies included cooking, carpentry, and gardening. He was a member of NorthPoint Church of the Nazarene and the former Point Place V.F.W. Post 3265.He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley (Lisa Hanna) Henrie; daughters, Ginnean Henrie, Janet Knight-Brown, and Malette Knight-Hall; grandchildren, Lisa Gentle, Joshua and Savannah Kohn, Andy, Sean, and Noah Gentle, and Nicolas Henrie; brother, James (Martha) Knight; and several nieces and nephews living in the Southeast United States.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ingeborg Knight and his parents.Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at NorthPoint Church of the Nazarene, 5825 Suder Ave., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Donna Ebanks officiating. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.Memorial contributions in Millard's memory may be made to the .
