Milton G. LynchDagsboro-Milton G. Lynch, age 88, of Dagsboro passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 surrounded by family at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was born on July 25, 1928 in Williamsville, DE to the late Charlie W. and Mildred (Bunting) Lynch. Milt had a tremendous life. After serving in Korea from 1947-1948, he married his wife Jean in 1950 and together they had four children. An avid fisherman and hunter in his youth, Milt was happiest while outdoors. He enjoyed many years of planting flowers, fruits and vegetables in his garden and frequented Millsboro Lanes where he bowled. A devoted Phillies and Eagles fan, he loved watching his favorite teams play ball.He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jean V. Lynch and their children, Robert Lynch, Bruce Lynch (Carol), Donna DiNubile, and Cheryl Wolff (Bill); a brother, Clifton Lynch; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all whom loved him greatly.He was preceded in death by his brothers, Winfred and Preston Lynch.Our family would like to give special thanks to the ICU Nursing staff at Beebe for all of their efforts and care.We will always carry your memory in our hearts, Milt. We love you.A visitation will begin at 11am with a service at noon on Tuesday, April 18 at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville. Pastor Robert Kirby will be officiating.
