Minnie Seale, 82, passed away on June 6, 2013 after a lengthy illness in Rusk, TX. She was born on September 3, 1930 in Sprot, Alabama to Melvin and Estelle Grinstead. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter (Gene) Seale; granddaughter, Crystal Faye Davis; sister, Maggie Cook and brother, Melvin Grinstead, Jr. She is survived by daughter, Brenda Davis and husband Danny G. Davis; 2 grandchildren, Charity Renee Ourso and husband John and Danny Davis, II (Bubba) and wife Autumn Davis; 4 great-grandchildren, Elania Cannon, D.J. Cannon, Abigail Ourso and Lydia Ourso; 4 sisters, Jewel Bibby, Lou Englebert, Carol Smith, Elizabeth Duff; 2 brothers, Billy Grinstead, Donald Grinstead ; aunt, Bobbie Sue Conner; sister-in-law, Carolyn Chandler and many, many loving friends and family.

Minnie, a former Humble resident, lived in Rusk, Texas for 2 years. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Rusk, Texas. Minnie loved her life and her family but above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her prayer daily was that her family would draw closer to the Lord. She was in the Cherokee Trails Nursing Facility where she was loved and admired by everyone.

Our family would like to express our thanks to Cherokee Trails Nursing Facility for the wonderful love and excellent care given to mom during her stay there. They went above and beyond their duty to see that she and our family received the best care. I can't praise them enough.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 2pm - 3pm at Grand View Funeral Home. A funeral service officiated by Bro. Mike Bradford and Greg Thurstenson will follow at 3pm in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Danny Davis, II, John Ourso, Troy Leland, Kenny Prestenbach, Chris Crone, James Cate, D.J. Cannon and Mike Sweeney will be assisting as Pallbearers.
