Miriam Chahine , 27, of Santa Monica, California, passed on April 07, 2021. Miriam was born on January 04, 1994 in Beirut, Lebanon to Ali and Laura. She received her Psychology degree at Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2020 and practiced medical psychology for two months in Beirut, Lebanon. She married Ali on May 25, 2016. Miriam is survived by her husband Ali, one child, Haydar, and siblings, Mohammad and Hussein. Other relatives are Rana, Tahri, Zeihab, and Layla. She was predeceased by Abubakar and Aziz.Miriam had a passion for poetry and painting. Her paintings have been used as sources of inspiration to teenagers concerning religion and lifestyle. Her art is admired by many artists, family members, and friends. She also loved to take part in community work as a volunteer social worker, counseling drug addicts, and taking part in peer education. Her notable contributions to the Migrant Community Centre in Beirut will be missed. Miriam was a very generous, kind, honest, and strict woman whose actions were entirely based on Islamic teachings. She was greatly admired by her fellow women due to her infectious smile, decent dressing, and compassionate nature.Miriam received several awards in community service like The President’s Volunteer Service Award for her dedicated support towards the vulnerable communities in her home town. She was also presented with the Migrant Community Centre Award for her continued volunteer services for the organization
