Hazaert, Mitchell "Mitch"Mitchell "Mitch" Hazaert, 68, Green Bay, died at home Friday, November 4, 2016 after an extended illness. He was born on February 24, 1948, in Green Bay to Herbert E. and Elaine (Deckert) Hazaert.Mitch enjoyed working on cars. He could easily be found tinkering in his garage. Throughout his life, Mitch worked in auto body garages. He loved being a part of his Corvette Club. Mitch was also a member of the Green Bay Teamsters Local union. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and sportsman and taught hunter safety classes for many years.He is survived by his sister and her husband, Linda and Mark Motiff; a special friend/cousin/caretaker, Alan Schmidtke; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 9. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
