Molene Larkin-Dix, of Troy, Alabama, passed away on August 9, 2024 at the age of 90. She was born on May 29, 1934 to Raymond and Evie Dubois Larkin. Molene was married to George A Dix in 1943 and together they had three children: Mitchell Dix with spouse Elaine, Tyrone Dix with spouse Nola, and Greg Dix with spouse Stephanie. Proceeded in death by devoted son Ronnie Dix (Kymberli).

Molene was a dedicated educator who worked at the Owner Mother Goose Learning Center until her retirement in 1993. She was also actively involved in church organizations and was awarded Educator of the year for her commitment to education.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Molene had a passion for children and loved spending time with her eight grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
