Monica Renee McMicheal, 43, passed away September 10, 2019 after a two year battle with breast cancer. Her funeral service will be held November 21 at Dakan Funeral Home in Caldwell. 

Mrs. McMicheal was born on February 9, 1976 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Walter and Margie Hill. She moved to Boise at a young age and attended Boise State University and earned her Bachelors in both Business and Accounting. She had a very successful business career and became a district manager for Citi Group. Monica was more than an amazing person and business woman; she was an excellent mother of three and wife to Michael Mechanic. She married Michael on March 3rd, 2008 and had three children (Matthew, Sierra, Gabriel). 

Monica devoted her life to loca community groups and events, focusing on helping children and families in need. One of her favorite hobbies was painting; she mentored countless children and helped them progress as both artists and people. 

Her family paid this tribute to her, “Monica was a remarkable soul whom always knew how to make people laugh and learn how to love themselves. She has made such an impact in so many lives and people throughout the community will remember her as a person who put everyone before herself”.
