Born in 1973 to her beloved mother Gabriel Alvarez, Monika grew up to become a loving wife to Victor Chavez and a devoted mother to her four children: Lela, Alexander, Jalen, and Marco. She was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren.
Monika had a successful career as an Addictions Counselor, where she touched countless lives with her empathy and understanding. She was known for her sharp wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering support for those in need.
Despite facing many challenges in life, Monika approached every situation with humor and grace. Her positive attitude and ability to find joy in the smallest moments made her a beacon of light for those around her.
Although she may have left us too soon, Monika's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
