We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Mother Becky Smith on October 28, 2024, in Miami, Florida. She was born on August 5, 1940, to Darryl Vincent O’Neil and Mary Anne O’Neil.

Becky married the love of her life, Artie B Smith, in 1960, and together they raised a beautiful family of 10 children. She will be dearly missed by her children Tangela, Kay Dolores, Tony (and his spouse Bobbie), Timothy (and his spouse Sheryl), Ronald AKA Abdul (and his spouse Carol), George (and his spouse Donna), Artie Jr., Terri Anne (and her spouse Michael), Leticia (and her spouse Elvin), and Johnathan (and his spouse Kathy).

Becky was a dedicated homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She studied at Macon High School and worked as a house cleaner for many years.

Her infectious laugh and warm smile will be remembered by all who knew her. Becky's passing was due to a massive stroke and heart attack.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Mother Becky Smith.
