Cecil Sansbury was born October 30, 1936 in Darlington County, SC. He was the eldest son of the late Lawrence (Pink) and Juanita Sansbury.

He transitioned from this life to eternal life on August 22, 2023 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. Cecil attended Lee County Public School and was united in holy matrimony to the late Macie Lee Bevel Sansbury. This union was blessed with three children; Cecil Jr, Frankie and Delores.

Cecil loved the Lord and spending quality time with his family. He also loved playing baseball with Lydia Red Sox's for a number of years. He also loved fishing and he had a passion for building which led him to build his own home and his daughter's salon. (Delores Beauty Salon).

Surviving to cherish his memory and maintain his legacy are his two sons;

Cecil Sansbury Jr, Frankie(Jackie) Sansbury and one daughter; Delores Sansbury. Grandchildren; Jason Allen, Ashley Hunter, Dorian Sansbury, Joshua Sansbury, Tevin Wilson and a host of great grandchildren; five sisters;

Rose(Charlie)Colclough, Lottie Mac(Sam)Williams, Francine(Joe)Robinson, Grace(Carnell)Robinson, a bonus sister; Christine Jackson; two brothers;

Fred(Margaret) Sansbury and Clarence Sansbury; an honorary sister; Jessie Mae Belvin and an honorary brother; Thomas(Kooda Bug) Williams; In Laws; Eunice(Bill) Jackson, Sara(Walter)Tedder, Shirley(Robert) Davis, Maureen Scott, Nova Jean Bevel, Pearlie Mae Williams, Brother in Law;

David Bevel and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
