Mrs. Doris D. Alston, 83, of Bessemer, Alabama. She ascended to her heavenly home on October 28, 2021. Doris D. Alston was born on February 19, 1938 to the parents of Alice Watknis and Eugene Mahone.

During her life, she married Mr. Lenton Al Alston. Lenton Al Alston and Doris Alston moved to Bessemer, Alabama from Long Island, New York where they united with the World Overcomers Christian Church under the leardership of Johnathan McPherson, Jr.

Doris Alston was preceded in death by her husband, Lenton Al Alston, and her son, Ralph Wilson.

Doris Alston leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Erick WIlson and wife Dara Wilson) Long Island, New York; grandchildren, Anthony Wilson, Derrick Wilson, and Erin WIlson; her three stepbrothers, and four stepsisters; two stepdaughters (Cookie and CeCe Alston), and one stepsons (Spudnice Alston); and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Doris D. Alston will be truly missed.
