Myra Wade passed away of natural causes on August 28, 2012 at Vibra Hospital in San Diego surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley on Saturday, September 8th at 9 a.m. Myra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born on February 19, 1928 in Caddo, Oklahoma. Myra moved to Brawley in 1943 and attended Brawley Union High School. She met her husband E.J. Wade and was married in Yuma, Arizona on October 1, 1946. Myra raised her two daughters while she was employed by Orita cotton gin and Holly Sugar where she worked for more than 25 years until she retired and became a full time grandmother and great grandmother. Myra was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Wade on January 26, 2005 and her brother, Bill Alexander on August 26, 1980. She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Miller and husband David Miller of Brawley and Paula Kuhn and husband Bob Kuhn of Durango, CO; grandchildren, Traci Baustian of San Diego, CA, Kristi Hensley and Zach Hensley of Denver, CO, Michael Kuhn of Durango, CO, Brian Kuhn and wife Krista Kuhn of Simi Valley, CA and Rodney Miller of San Diego, CA; great-grandchildren, Kyle Baustain of San Diego, CA, Reese Kuhn of Simi Valley, CA and Addison Hensley of Denver, CO. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Myra has touched a lot of hearts by her kindness and will be missed by all who knew her.
