Myra Schroeder, 73, of Grand Chute, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, February 4, 2017, while in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Myra was born on December 5, 1943, in Miles City, Montana to the late John and Regina (Pestka) Dreibelbis. Myra moved to Wausau after her mother's death in 1952 and graduated from Wausau East High School in 1961.On November 27, 1999 she married her loving husband Robert Schroeder and moved to Appleton. Myra enjoyed a lifetime career as a banker, first with River Valley State Bank in Rothschild (Wausau), then with Fidelity Bank in Appleton. She retired from Fidelity Bank in 2005. Myra enjoyed traveling, house boating, casino bus trips, playing bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.Myra will be deeply missed by her husband Robert Schroeder, three children: son Mike (Liz) Lewens of Neenah, son Bill Lewens (Kelley Derrick) of Wausau, step-daughter Darcy (Greg) Brittnacher of Kaukauna, six grandchildren: Kinsey Lewens, Kylah Lewens, Chance Lewens, Travis Diedrich, Tara (Travis) Schaefer, Tyler (Brittany) Tennie, eight great-grandchildren: Alize, Brayden, Jaksen, Lillian, Madysen, Gage, Maci and Vada, one brother: John (Pat) Dreibelbis, many step-brothers/sisters, step-in-laws, nieces, nephews and good friends, especially those at Crystal Shores West in Gulf Shores, Alabama, her "boat people" and her "bingo buddies" - Betty, Tom and Mary, Shirley, and Darcy.In addition to her parents, Myra was preceded in death by her step-mother Mae Schultz, step-father Walter Schultz, step-son Bill Schroeder, and step-brother Marston Matson.A celebration of Myra's life will take place at 11 am on Saturday, March 4, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Friends and relatives may visit at the funeral chapel on Saturday, March 4, from 9 am until the time of service.
