Nancy Grace Kevins-Williamson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Manassas, VA, at the age of 89. She was born on December 12, 1934, in London, England, to the proud parents George Arthur Kevins and Meena Elizabeth Beatty.
Nancy's life was one filled with love, family, and dedication. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her devoted husband Charles Artie Williamson, all 13 of her siblings, and two of her children. Despite the profound losses she endured, Nancy found strength in her only surviving child, Anne Elizabeth Jean, and her husband Lawson. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren Claire Frank, Jessica Newman, and Nicholas Williamson, as well as her six adored great-grandchildren.
In 1953, Nancy married the love of her life, Charles, in London, England. Their union lasted 67 beautiful years until Charles tragically succumbed to Covid-19 in 2020. Nancy was a dedicated homemaker who selflessly moved her family from England to America in 1965 to support her husband's career. They settled in Manassas, Virginia, where Nancy bravely built a new life for her family.
Nancy's interests were as diverse as they were meaningful. A devout Royalist, she adored everything about the Royal family and found solace in watching Netflix's "The Crown," as it reminded her of her homeland. Her love for the Queen and Princess Diana was unwavering. Additionally, Nancy found peace and joy in attending church, where she spent countless hours in prayer and reflection. She cherished moments with her family, often enjoying picnics and flower-picking outings with her loved ones.
A faithful member of the Church of England, Nancy was known for her kind and gentle soul. Her warmth and compassion touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her. Nancy's legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
