Nancy Waldschmidt, 69, of Lonsdale, Minnesota, passed peacefully on November 12, 2021. Nancy was born on October 29th, 1952 in Faribault, MN.

Nancy was the third oldest of ten children and grew up around the Northfield area. She graduated from Northfield high school. Nancy married her husband John in July of 1975.

Over the years Nancy had many hobbies. She enjoyed crocheting, doing nails, bowling, making cakes, and riding motorcycles. Nancy owned her own driving school for years then worked as a cook before retiring. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter Jeanna Carlson and two granddaughters Emily (Mitchell) Vlasak and Kaitlyn Carlson. She is also survived by her siblings Dennis Thompson, Sue (James) Miner, Debbie Thompson, Kathy Wiese, Diane (Mike) Kubicek, Wesley (Dawn) Thompson, Linda (Roy) Hedberg, and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was proceeded in death by her husband John, parents Cyril and Jean Thompson, sisters Renee Heggedahl and Barbara Keilen, and sister-in-law Sue Thompson.

A celebration of life will be held on December 11, 2021 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Lonsdale American Legion.
