OSHKOSH - Nancy B. Retzinger, age 70, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Evergreen with her daughter by her side. She was born on May 26, 1944 to John and Lorraine (Fetzer) Hansen in Kenosha, WI. She was married to the father of her children Lee Hartnek in March 1964 and later on married David Retzinger December 27, 1982. Nancy graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha and went on to receive a BA in English at UW Parkside. She was a member of Calvary Methodist Church in Egg Harbor, WI and was in charge of the Sunday school program at the church. She loved gardening and photography of her flowers and people. Nancy also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband David. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Patrick) McKone of Oshkosh; son, Shawn Hartnek of Racine; step children, Michael (Amy) Retzinger, Yvonne Retzinger, Valerie (Bill) Yust, Greg (Debbie) Retzinger, Daniel (Terri) Retzinger; sister, Peggy Hansen of Minneapolis and Linnea (Dennis) Gabe of Green, IA; brother John (Jennie Tunkieicz) Hansen; granddogs Molly and Smoke; and six step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Lee and David; brother Robert “Snickey” (Ruth) Harker. A small graveside service for family will be held at 100 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Green Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha, WI. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Evergreen, Affinity Hospice, and Bellin Cardiac Care Unit for the love and care they provided for Nancy.
