Nancy Elizabeth Culver, 92, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 03, 2013, at Colonial Health and Rehab of Bardstown. She was the former Nancy Elizabeth Rogers born on April 17, 1921, in Bardstown, was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor O'Connell Culver; a son, Hubert O'Connell Culver; a daughter, Nancy Nadine Culver; her parents, Hubert R. and Mattie Bell Ritchie Rogers; three sisters; and nine brothers.Survivors include three sons, Victor R. (Jane) Culver, of Wilmington, N.C., John Wayne (Ruby) Culver and Joseph R.(Georgann) Culver, both of Bardstown; three daughters, Carolyn Harned, Marian (Jimmy) Mattingly and Nadine (Tiny) Smith, all of Bardstown; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law Earl Culver of Niles, Mich.The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in St. Thomas Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Brown will officiate. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, and after 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
