Nancy Guinn Crawford Gilmore, of Burlington, North Carolina, passed on October 08, 2023 with her devoted daughter Jami at her side.

Nancy was an infectious spirit with a side of mischief always up her sleeve. Her life was filled with the joy of serving others. She pursued a professional career in cosmetology with an extended tenure at Pam’s Beauty Salon prior to having her daughter, Crystal. Nancy assisted Steve, her first husband, with the family business - C & J Radiator/Crawford Automotive until the birth of her younger daughter, Jami. Nancy continued to enjoy working with the public in several area restaurants over the years, as she truly enjoyed being around a variety of people. Any given Wednesday, she could be found with BINGO blotters in hand, ready for a win at the Moose Lodge. She loved anything Elvis. 

Nancy enjoyed cooking for her family and often hosted dinners, especially catering to her daughters’ favorite dishes. 

Nancy was loved dearly by both of her surviving daughters, grandchildren, siblings and several special nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughters: Crystal Crawford Bass (Tripp), Jami Crawford (Mike) three grandchildren, Christian Crawford (Omar), Thomas Bass, and Maggie Bass; brother Butch Ray (Dianne), sister Janice Davis (Kenneth); sister-in- law and life-long special friend, Wanda Crawford Brooks. 

Nancy was preceeded in death by her parents, James and Maggie Guinn; and husbands Steve Crawford and Harry Gilmore. 

Nancy had requested prior to her passing she did not wish to have visitation nor viewing- she preferred to be remembered with the love you felt when you last saw her.
