Nancy Anita (Anderson) Gunn1928 - 2013Nancy Anita Anderson Gunn, 85, of Boynton Beach, Fla., passed away Nov. 26, 2013, at her home in Boynton Beach. She was born on Oct. 22, 1928, the daughter of Mary Elvira and Harold Vladimir Anderson. Born in Kenosha, Wis., she was lifetime friends with Betty Beaumier, Joyce Simo and Loretta Mikula.She graduated from Bradford High School in 1946 and Washington University School of Business Class of 51.She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.On May 7, 1960, in Chicago, Ill., she was united in marriage to James B. Gunn.Nancy was employed as a buyer for Carson Pirie Scott, owner of Gunns Coin Laundry & Viking Cleaners. She was also employed as a real estate agent.She is survived by her daughter, Karen Lee Gunn Whetsell (Charles Gregory Whetsell) of Boynton Beach; granddaughter, Savannah Kelly Whetsell of New York City, N.Y.; and cousin, Nancy Danielson of Oneonta, N.Y.Preceded in death by her husband, James B. Gunn. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at Dorsey & E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, Fla.
