Baehnman, Nancy J.Nancy J. Baehnman, 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Nancy was born on September 3, 1931 to Harvey and Verona (Loeper) Klitzke. Her mother passed away when she was 8 and she went to live with her Aunt Irene and Uncle Clarence for many years and she was always thankful for everything they did for her. On May 23, 1953 she was united in marriage to Carl Baehnman at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church, together they spent over 63 wonderful years together. Carl was a wonderful and loving caregiver. Nancy worked at Sears for many years. She enjoyed traveling, doing crossword puzzles, reading, playing cards, and knitting. Carl enjoyed watching all Wisconsin sports and Nancy became an avid fan while spending time with him. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and loved hosting family dinners. Those special times together will always be cherished. Nancy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl Baehnman, five children; Richard (Nancy) Baehnman, Paul Baehnman, Tom Baehnman, David (Jayme) Baehnman, Lynn Baehnman, grandchildren and great grandchildren; Erin (Drew) Koeppl, and their children, Hutchinson and Hensley, Kimberly (Blair) Koeppl, and their daughter Eleanora, and Kassandra Baehnman, a sister-in-law, Carol Dougdale. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her step mother Beatrice, a brother Wayne and a daughter-in-law Nancy Baehnman.The Christian funeral for Nancy will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at ST. MATTHEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 129 S. Mason St. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Entombment will be in the Highland Memorial Park.
