She was born on June 1, 1932, in Louisa County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Jessie Lewis Sims and Eva Hunter White Sims. Nancy was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Franklin Darr, and her two sisters, Ann Sims Whittington and Mary Elizabeth Hester. She is survived by a son, Robert Franklin Darr, and her two daughters, Evelyn Joyce Darr and Carolyn Rebecca Darr. Instead of funeral services, her ashes will be shared with her son, her daughters and placed beside her beloved husband in Mineral, Virginia at a later date. Arrangements are with Robert Massie funeral Home.
