Nancy K. YaleEndwell - Nancy K. Yale (Blair), 86, passed away at Good Shepherd Village in Endwell, NY on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She was born on September 4, 1930 in Schenectady, NY to the late J. Kent Blair and Catherine (Jacquay) Blair. Nancy lived in the Binghamton area most of her life. She is predeceased by her son, Richard B. Fahey; daughter, Teri Yale and grandson David R. Pittarelli. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Richard G. Yale, Endicott, NY; and children: Catherine Abbott, Poughkeepsie, NY; Gary Yale, Arnold, CA; Joseph Fahey (Denise Contento), Gardnerville, NV; Margi Fendt (Art), Sewell, NJ; Kelley Romano (Mike), Liverpool, NY and Jackie Pittarelli (Dave), Endicott NY; and brother J. Kent Blair (Prudence), New Providence, NJ. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one nephew and two nieces; and several cousins. Nancy graduated from Binghamton North High School in 1948. She was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church and a proud member of the D.A.R. and the Mayflower Society. She was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Society at Broome Community College in 1979. Her musical tastes were eclectic and she loved to read. Her prized possessions were her family and her piano, and one of her favorite places was Naples, Florida where she and Dick spent many winters. The family would like to thank all the nurses, aides and Staff at Good Shepherd Village for the care she received there. Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, NY. Funeral services will held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Allen Memorial Home. Private burial will follow the service at Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton.
