Nancy Ruth was born on July 5, 1952, to Loyd and Margie Wilson Hamilton in Lubbock, Texas. On Dec. 1, 1995, Nancy married the love of her life, Rudy Nava in Lubbock, Texas. Nancy loved exponentially. She was a fierce protector of her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, and she jumped at any chance to put her feet in the water. Nancy was an avid sports fan - her dedication spanned from the grandkids' teams to the Dallas Cowboys. And you better not speak poorly of her Red Raiders. She could whip a person into shape, and, with just one look, she could encourage with value and grace. She taught others to stand for what they believe in and never back down. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Ruth Davidson and husband, Brian; Mandi Ann Patton; Angela Nicole Hale and husband, Stephen; stepdaughters, Lori Lopez and husband, Bryan; Michelle Nava; son-in-law, David Valdez; grandchildren, Clay, Maddox, Kolton, Ben, Luke, Parker, Kristian, Maddisan, Jayden, Zane, Cruz, and Broox; brother, Kenneth Wayne Hamilton and wife, Dona; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved Bulldog, Bo. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyd Wayne and Margie Ruth Hamilton; and husband, Rudy Nava. Memorial contributions are welcome and the family suggests Sun Country Volleyball 4233 West Farmers, Amarillo, TX 79110.
